Research Analyst

Kaitlin DePartee is an expert in criminal justice research and crime analysis. Her research interests include body-worn cameras, crime analysis, and smart policing. At CNA, DePartee is the project manager for the Crime Analyst in Residence training and technical assistance program of the Bureau of Justice Assistance in the U.S. Department of Justice.

Prior to joining CNA, DePartee was a crime and research analyst at the Finn Institute for Public Safety. DePartee has also served as an embedded crime analyst in police departments and fusion centers. Her previous research is in drug court evaluations and bail reform analysis.

DePartee holds both a Master of Arts in criminal justice and a graduate certificate in homeland security from the University at Albany, State University of New York, and a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from the University of Scranton.
