Sabrina Verleysen
Sabrina Verleysen is an expert in government relations and Indonesian civilian-military relations. She collaborates regularly on business development lifecycle activities and executes strategic initiatives, events and engagements. In addition, she supports projects funded by the Department of State that focus on civilian harm mitigation.
Prior to joining CNA, Verleysen's work focused on community engagement in Indonesia. She completed a Fulbright grant in the province of Central Java, where she taught English at a madrasah and established a nonprofit to provide English books and resources to high schools in rural areas of the Indonesian archipelago. She also worked at the Cohen Group, where she supported clients in planning and implementing strategic government engagements in the United States and abroad.
Verleysen is pursuing her Master of Arts in international affairs policy and analysis from American University’s School of International Service. She has a Bachelor of Arts in communications and Spanish language and literature from Villanova University. She speaks some Bahasa Indonesia.
