Quin Patterson
Quin Patterson is a specialist in policing and police technology, specifically de-escalation and body-worn cameras. At CNA, Patterson serves as the resource and outreach lead for the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s Body-Worn Camera Training and Technical Assistance program, producing resources and webinars related to body-worn cameras and their implementation. In addition, he works on the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s Officer Safety and Wellness project.
Patterson has a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in criminology and criminal justice from Arizona State University. His master’s thesis focused on the effect of body-worn cameras on officer-citizen interactions using data gathered from a de-escalation study with the Tempe, Arizona, Police Department. Patterson is proficient in Spanish.
