Heather M.K. Wolters, Ph.D.
Heather Wolters currently specializes in research related to harmful and destructive behavior prevention across the Department of Defense. Her research approaches harmful behavior prevention by comprehensively examining risk and protective factors for multiple harmful behaviors; evaluating prevention programs and identifying areas for improvement; and identifying leader competencies to build and sustain healthy climates. She is also an expert in job analysis, competency modeling, assessment development and validation, survey design and administration, and multiple qualitative research design and analysis techniques.
Dr. Wolters earned Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Arts degrees in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Ferris State University.
