In
FY 1999, the USCG Reserve accessed a total of 24 new warrant officers;
their end-strength was 224. While the number of USCG Reserve warrant
officer accessions was the same in FY 1999 and 1998, their end-strength
increased by 8 from 216 in FY 1998. Any differences between the USCG
and overall DoD information should be interpreted with caution given the
small numbers of USCG Reserve warrant officer accessions and warrant officers
(Table 8.18).
